The last Saturday, 12h of July, we met 8 players on the beach of Getxo (Basque Country) to organize a new tournament of Ringtennis on the beach, the VI. Ereaga Tournament of Ringtennis, as we do every year in July or August. It wasn’t too hot, but it didn’t rain, and the weather was perfect for playing ringtennis.
The tournament was fiercely contested, and in the final, Joseba Fernandez and Galder
Etxebarria defeated Egoitz Campo and Joseba Zubiaurre in a very close match. This victory earned them their first title at the Ereaga Beach ringtennis tournament.
Our idea is to organize the VI. Basque Tournament of Ringtennis (Doubles)
next September or October.
